Roc de l'Arche campsite

Le Caussanel campsite presents:

As promised in an earlier article, I will give you some more information about this other campsite we run as it has many different qualities from Le Caussanel campsite. Roc de l'Arche campsite counts 75 pitches and 20 mobil-homes and is situated at only 300 m from Espalion centre, which is located in the North of the Aveyron département. Thanks to the inhabitants' investments Espalion underwent little changes throughout the centuries and therefore walking through the village is like going back through time. Roc de l'Arche campsite is situated near the Saint Jaques de Compostelle Pilgrim's Way. For this reason the campsite's surroundings are the perfect place for hiking passionates. At only a few minutes from the campsite there is the Calmont d'Olt Castle, which is particularly animated during high season. The campsite is also close to France's "Most beautiful villages" such as Conques, Saint-Côme-d'Olt, Sainte-Eulalie-d'Olt and Estaing. A nice family activity is to go and visit Le Jardin des bêtes. Finally, a visit to the Laguiole Coutellerie (local and world-known knive (work)shop) will complete your stay at the campsite. These are only a selection of activities nearby the campsite. There is much more to discover.

The campsite is situated along the Lot river and next to a local park with children's playground and multisports ground. (see photos below)

These are the Roc de l'Arche campsite's main qualities:

- a site offering a large number of leafy shaded pitches
- rental of recent bought mobil-homes (2 bedrooms)
- a vegetable garden
- chickens and rabbits
- free access to the local outside swimming pool (July and August)

I finish this article with a photo I love because of the way the light falls on the reception building. Notice the comfortable terrace just next to it where you can meet up with the other campsite users or just take some alone time with a nice book and a drink.
