A cascade runs through the Village...

In holidays, in the Aveyron, our campers are asking us a recurrent question  : What is good to do / to see in the region ?

Of course, we are eager to give you some touristics tips which can be scheduled for a half or even for a whole day according to your desire.

Today, I would like to make you discover a typical village which will surely delight you....Salles-la-Sources.

In direction of Conques right after the city of Rodez, you will surely be amazed by this astonishing cascade which flows right at the center of the village. 

To go further, the cascade gets its water by a ground river which flows from the "Tindoul de la Vayssière" (meaning in Occitan : chasm) result of a natural ground collapse.

According to the seasons, the river flows can reach 0 to 700 liters (184.80 gallons) per second.

Donnot hesitate to wander through this little village and feel free to install yourself for a picnic by the water sound.
